Lisa’s skill set and knowledge base goes well beyond massage therapy. As a UNI graduate, she studied sports medicine and athletic training giving her a strong foundation of anatomy. Attending massage therapy school at Carlson College in Fall 2009, she was able to start her career soon after, gaining practice for four years in the spa setting.
In 2014 she decided to take learning to the next level. Studying with William LeSuer, creator of the neuromuscular soft tissue release technique, she became the second Flexibility Coach in the country. This allowed her to step into the world of athletes, offering them specialized recovery to fit their needs.
She now combines her knowledge and practice to bring you the experience and treatment that best fits you. Her professionalism, passion, individualization to you, and love of healing can be felt in every session.
She’s more than happy to bring that to Virtue Salon and Spa here in Cedar Rapids!
